Hole 12 The Boundary

When standing on The Boundary tee you are at the furthermost point from the club house on the course. The views from this point are without doubt spectacular. It is possible to see from St. Anne’s head and Thorne Island which are at opposite ends to the entrance to the harbour  Past Stack Rock and other relics from the Napoleonic wars to Pembroke Dock, a distance of about 8 miles. In between you will see jetties with huge oil tankers loading and unloading and the Irish Ferry can be seen heading for Rosslare in Ireland.

The Boundary hole is a relatively benign hole with a level green and slopes off to the right into a shallow, large bunker.  Golfers should be aware of the wind direction on this hole with a high shot being caught by the prevailing wind and carried into the wooded area on the right hand side.
