The Orchard is a very interesting par 4 which has a sharp (90 Degree) dog leg to the right. It is best to make the drive off the tee and get the ball into the centre of the fairway by the gap where the dog leg turns.

Some longer hitters are tempted to cut the corner and drive over the farmyard. This is a very long carry and has to clear the trees, buildings and a wall and is not for the faint hearted or short hitter.

Overhead electricity wires pass over the course at this point. Any ball hitting these wires must be replayed without penalty.

The second shot is then relatively straightforward with a medium to long iron. The green is on two levels with a ridge running across it from left to right, at the front of the green there is a steep slope up onto the green and a large bunker which makes the green appear to be an elevated green. The slope at the back of the green is down onto the green.
