Hole Review

The pond is a par 4 and is the most difficult hole on the course. Apart from the trees on either side of the fairway there is very little to worry you with the drive. Longer hitters beware of the ditch which runs right across the fairway and the pond which is on the right hand side of the ditch. The pond sometimes acts as a magnet for the wayward second shot.
After the ditch has been successfully negotiated there is a lateral hazard ditch running along the right hand side of the fairway up to the green with a large bush near the top end of it. A drive and a medium or long iron usually sees the ball on, or close to the green.
The green itself is guarded by a large bunker on the left and grass mounds on the left and rear of the green. The green has a slight slope from the back of the green to the front.
