On Saturday the 2nd of September we held the Past Captains Day Barclays Plate competition. This is an annual competition event and has been a tradition at MHGC for many years. The day was well supported with 14 Past Captains taking part along with the current Club Captain Andrew Windsor. The weather and the course could not have been set up any better for our day and was enjoyed by all who took part. After the golf an excellent 2 course meal was served by Anna and Bev in the upstairs lounge followed by a presentation and several toasts to mark the occasion! Winners as follows:-
1st – John Price 42 points
2nd – Paul Eva 40 points
3rd – Dave Evans 38 points.
There were 4 twos John Skelhorn x 2, Dave Evans and Andrew Windsor.
