On Monday 16th June 33 seniors played Derllys Court Golf Club for the Senior Captain’s away day.
The course was in excellent condition and proved a real challenge for all of us.
The overall winner and recipient of the Alan & Veronica John Trophy was Reggie Kingston with an outstanding round of golf and a score of 40 points/ very well played Reggie.
In 2nd was John Skelhorn with a score of 35 points (on back 9 count back).
3rd place with the same score was Dick Wooding.
4th place was Ken Davies with 34 pts.

Brian Keen won nearest the pin on the 5th.
Well done to all the winners and thanks to all who played and helped to make it very enjoyable day out.
Thanks also to the staff at Derllys Court for their hospitality, excellent food and organisation.
A final thanks to Captain Bryan for organising the trip and for donating the raffle prizes ,also for the “joke” – not as memorable as the day but made us smile if not laugh.
