42 players took part in the Seniors Captains day on Thursday 20th July in perfect weather on a course that was in excellent condition where the greens and fairways were exceptional .
The overall winner was Roly Council with 43 points, with Chris Harding as runner up also on 43 points, Roly also won the over 70’s shield and Chris the Seniors Past Captains Cup. Kevin Bowen was in 3rd place with 40 points.
There were 9 two’s on the day and nearest the pin winners were Richard Brock on the 6th & Dick Wooding on the 16th.
The raffle raised £67 for local charity “Hope” and an additional £16 was added by Jeff Button from last years Seniors Captains day.
